Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice was a fantastically fun arcade style racing/combat game for Sony's PlayStation Portable. The core driving experience involved racing around at comically ludicrous speeds, leaping from vehicle to vehicle and dispatching criminals with reckless abandon. The game also involved numerous 3rd person on foot sections, a wide variety of special one-off missions and some wonderful Hollywood style boss fights. I was primarily responsible for creating the city environment (very loosely based on San Francisco) which covered roughly 10 square kilometres. In total I created six versions of the city and was also responsible for creating the environment for a cable-car/sniper mission set in a ski resort. The colossal scale of the environments (in combination with the required density of assets) necessitated working extremely fast and smart to remain on schedule and within performance requirements.
